Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate
Couples work, adult ADHD, and the question of what you actually want your life to be.
704-705-4550 · kelly@charlottetherapyassociates.com · Psychology Today profile
Kelly works with older teens, adults and couples, with particular energy around helping partners strengthen communication and understand the patterns creating distance between them. She came to psychotherapy after a long first career as a graphic designer and professional artist, and after navigating a fair number of relational and physical storms of her own, the emotional support she kept finding herself extending eventually became the work.
How Kelly works
Kelly's approach integrates CBT, psychodynamic, person-centered and existential therapy with IFS-informed interventions. Drawing on her background in the creative arts, she may bring in therapeutic art, journaling, somatic work and reflective exercises when they will help a client process something that words alone are not reaching.
