Information we collect

We collect only what you choose to send us. If you use the appointment request or contact form, that message is composed in your own email application and sent directly to ashleigh@charlottetherapyassociates.com. This website does not store form submissions on a server.

Our host may log standard technical information such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, for security and performance purposes.

Email is not secure

Standard email is not encrypted and is not a secure channel for protected health information. We ask that you keep website messages general, your name, how to reach you, and a brief description of what you are looking for. Please do not send detailed clinical information, diagnoses, or records by email. Once you are a client, we will provide a secure portal.

How we use your information

• To respond to your question or appointment request
• To verify insurance benefits when you have asked us to
• To schedule and administer your care if you become a client

We do not sell, rent or trade your information. We do not send marketing email to people who have not asked for it.

Third-party content

This site embeds a Google Maps frame on the contact page and loads fonts from Google Fonts. These services may receive your IP address. We do not run advertising trackers on this site.

Your choices

You may ask us to delete an email you sent through this site at any time. As a client, your rights over your health record, including access, amendment and an accounting of disclosures, are set out in our Notice of Privacy Practices under HIPAA.
