Meet Lauren Fisic, Marriage and Family Therapy Associate

If you're feeling stuck in the same arguments, struggling to communicate, or wondering what happened to the connection you once had, you're not alone. Every couple faces hard moments—times when you feel more like roommates or opponents than partners. These patterns can leave you feeling frustrated, hurt, or even hopeless.

As a couples therapist, I help partners move out of disconnection and back into closeness. I work with couples who are dealing with communication issues, frequent conflict, emotional distance, or the pain of feeling misunderstood. My approach is grounded in attachment theory, which means I help you understand the deeper emotions and needs that drive your reactions—both yours and your partner’s.

Together, we’ll work to:

● Improve communication so you feel heard and understood

● Understand the negative cycle that keeps you stuck and disconnected

● Rebuild trust, intimacy, and emotional safety

● Learn new ways to handle conflict—so you don’t just fight less, but actually feel closer through it

I believe that therapy is hard work. It takes courage to show up, especially when things feel uncertain or broken. But I also believe that most relationships aren’t broken—they’re stuck. And with the right support, it’s possible to reconnect and rediscover what you love about each other.

My job is to help you slow things down, get curious about what’s really happening beneath the surface, and create space for meaningful conversations that bring you closer together. The goal isn’t just to stop fighting—it’s to help you feel safer, stronger, and more connected as a team.

If you're ready to start that journey, I’d be honored to walk with you.

Inclusive Care

I am committed to providing ethical, inclusive, and affirming therapy for all people. To me, this means creating a space where every client feels seen, respected, and safe to show up as their full self.

I am committed to ongoing education, reflection, and accountability in my efforts to be an anti-oppressive and culturally responsive therapist. My goal is to co-create a therapeutic relationship that is grounded in empathy, curiosity, and respect—so that you feel empowered, not judged, in your journey toward growth and connection.
