    Ashleigh Bryan is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in working with individuals, couples and families. She has a Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from East Carolina University. Ashleigh owns and maintains Charlotte Therapy Associates, PLLC and has years of experience in working with a broad spectrum of clients in numerous settings including in-home therapy, therapy in the medical setting and private practice. In addition to being a prominent relationship therapist, Ashleigh works with individuals and families and has a passion for working with women and families through the perinatal period as well. As a Marriage and Family Therapist, Ashleigh approaches her work with clients from a systems’s prespective and strongly believes that change is possible and people seek good in their lives. In the therapeutic process Ashleigh will strive to develop a relationship with you based on trust, acceptance, honesty, encouragement and mutual respect. Goals will be set to work towards that are both realistic and meet your needs where you are, driven by what changes you wish to make. This process will utilize self-reflection, insight, mindfulness and promote gaining increased self awareness. This is your time to change and achieve what you want; therefore, you will be the director of your change process!

    Her experience includes working with individuals, families and couples specifically with depression, trauma, adjustment issues, divorce, marital/relational strain, behavioral issues, grief and loss, anxiety, stress, and other psychological and relational problems. Ashleigh also has the pleasure of working with families as they make the transition to parenthood and with women during the perinatal period. Ashleigh proudly holds her Prerinatal Mental Health Certification. Ashleigh will pull from various theories in her work including Experiential, Systems, Attachment, Positive Psychology, Mindfulness, Solution-Focused, and Emotionally Focused Therapy.
