More Than the Letters Behind your Name featuring Diane Yee

As a therapist I am someone who holds space for emotions and help my clients navigate the complexities of life. And while that’s a meaningful part of who I am, it’s just one piece of the puzzle. So, let’s step outside the therapy room for a moment, and I’ll share a bit more about who I am beyond the work I do.

When I’m not working, you can often find me engaging in my favorite hobbies—reading, playing pickle ball, and hiking—which make me feel deeply connected to myself and grounded. I relish the details of each activity that keep me energized, and I also believe in finding delight in the little things—a morning walk, a great playlist, or even the thrill of getting lost in a new place.

Speaking of getting lost, I have a bit of a travel bug! My travel bug has led me to explore incredible destinations like Thailand, Portugal, and Africa, where immersing myself in new cultures, meeting interesting people, and experiencing diverse perspectives enriches my life. Beyond these personal adventures, I cherish connection, whether it’s spending quality time with close friends and family, participating in community events, or sharing meaningful conversations that make life truly fulfilling.

Like my clients, I’m always evolving; I enjoy reading about topics I’m passionate about, acquiring new skills, and challenging myself to step outside my comfort zone, embracing every lesson as part of my ongoing journey of growth. Thank you for taking the time to get to know me —I’d love to hear about the things that bring you joy, inspire you, or make you feel most alive.
